Watch 'The Hobbit' World Premiere Live from New Zealand

Very few of us will be able to travel to Wellington, New Zealand for this week’s world premiere of Peter Jackson’s wildly anticipated The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first chapter in what will be another trilogy based on the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Well, Warner Bros. has you covered. The studio plans to live stream the event on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the following times:

Los Angeles – 6:50 p.m. PST (Pacific Standard Time)
New York – 9:50 p.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time)

The feed from the event then will be replayed in the online player twice once it has concluded. The tentative schedule for the red carpet festivities, according to the studio, will be as follows:

- Show Opening  / Welcome
- Neil Finn Performance (the set includes a performance of “Song of the Lonely Mountain” from the official soundtrack)
- Talent arrivals, red carpet interviews and crowd interaction
- Official Speeches

The Hobbit will open everywhere on Dec. 14. Bookmark this page, come back on Tuesday, and watch the live stream from New Zealand right here:
