Watch: Sneak Peek of Latest Pixar Short, 'The Blue Umbrella'

The summer movie season is only a few months away and Pixar's entry into the mid-year fray will be Monsters University. Today, we get a sneak peek at the Pixar short that will screen in front of the prequel to the 2001 hit Monsters, Inc.

The latest inanimate objects to be brought to life are umbrellas. There's not much to this teaser, other than a photo-realistic look at the short, titled The Blue Umbrella.

What are your thoughts on the animation? Do you like the photo-realistic style or would you prefer more traditional computer generated animation that Pixar has become synonymous with?

Monsters University opens June 21.
