Watch: New Trailers for 'The Watch,' 'The Apparition,' 'Snow White' and a 3D Take on 'The Great Gatsby'

Trailers for a handful of anticipated films streamed across the Web in the past 24 hours, giving us long-lead looks at two summer blockbusters, a horror thriller and a potential Oscar candidate. Let’s run through the clips and point out what’s worth watching.

Vince Vaughn stopped by Conan O’Brien’s late-night TBS talk show on Tuesday night with a trailer for The Watch, a sci-fi comedy that casts Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and the Swingers star as members of a community watch who suspect virtually everyone of their cul-de-sac of being an alien. Producers are playing up the extraterrestrial angle of the comedy, hoping to distance themselves from the Trevon Martin case in Florida. Smart move. The comedy opens on July 27. Here’s the first official trailer:

We linked to this trailer in our Cannes recap of Kristen Stewart’s On the Road, but here, once again, is a fun interactive trailer to help get you in the mood for Snow White and the Huntsman. The edgy take on the classic fairy tale stars KStew as the apple-biting maiden, destined to overthrow the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron) with the help of the titular Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth). It opens everywhere on June 1.

No fear, horror fans. Hollywood remembers that you are out there, and so they’ve programmed The Apparition for the late-summer weekend of Aug. 24. Starring Ashley Greene (of the Twilight saga), Apparition has something to do with scientists conjuring spirits to prove that ghosts only exist in our imaginations. Their experiment works … and that’s when the fun starts. Check it out for yourself, and catch the new poster under the tease:

We can’t let you go out on that. Late Tuesday night, Baz Luhrmann dropped a glitzy, glamorous trailer for his eagerly anticipated adaptation of The Great Gatsby, promising a pair of Oscar nominees -- Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan -- in the central roles of Gatsby and Daisy. The trailer was pretty dazzling, though it took a couple of watches before we think we caught all of the details Luhrmann packs into each frame. This is a movie to keep an eye on, particularly if you pay close attention to the annual Oscar race. The Great Gatsby will be in theaters in 3D on Dec. 25.

Now, tell us: Of the four, which are you most looking forward to, and why?
