Watch: New 'Croods' Trailer Explores a Brand New World

Dreamworks Animation is taking a hit with the lack of success from Rise of the Guardians. The studio is expected to take a $50 million loss on the film. Still, they're soldiering on, with their next feature, The Croods.

A couple months ago, we shared a teaser trailer which focused on the spectacle of a strange (at least to cave folk) new world. The film, which centers on a prehistoric human family exploring the outside world features the voice work of Emma Stone, Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds.

Today, a second trailer drops, injected with a lighter, goofier touch. We also see a lot more footage than what was presented a couple months ago as well as new characters.

The film opens March 22, 2013.

Will Dreamworks be able to rebound from Guardians, or does this look like another dud to you?
