The latest episode of Weekend Ticket finds host Dave Karger interviewing Superman himself, Henry Cavill. Cavill talks about what Man of Steel has to offer hard-core Superman fans, casual moviegoers and much more. Take a look below.
For the hard-core Superman fan:
"It provides a real, unapologetic insight into the character which hasn't been seen before. [It is] very much based in realism and also has some really, really good action which is really prevalent in the comic books."
For casual movie fans:
"It's just a great story. It's a great story that happens to have this superhuman, superpowered being in it called Superman who we all know the name of but it's a genuine story with some real heart and real feeling to it."
Being British Playing Superman:
"Personally I don't [think it matters], but I'm bound to say that anyway. Superman, Kal-El himself is from Krypton; he's an invulnerable alien. If they happen to find an invulnerable alien from Krypton on Earth, I think that guy should play the role. He's definitely got better insight to the character."
Going to the Bathroom in the Suit:
"It takes a while. You don't go to the bathroom in it, for one."
