Watch: Can Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Prevent 'The World's End?'

Five friends. One epic bar crawl. The possible annihilation of our planet.
Yep, just another Edgar Wright comedy.
Those who have seen (and adored) Wright’s Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz have circled The World’s End, the conclusion to a proposed comedic trilogy that once again follows Simon Pegg and Nick Frost on an over-the-top adventure. They play former mates who reunite in hopes of completing a pub crawl that defeated them in their youth.
This time, though, the threat is a bit more severe … and alien.
The latest trailer for Wright’s The World’s End ramps up the sci-fi element of the story, while also solidifying some fantastic jokes. The supporting cast for Wright’s endeavor is to die for, including the brilliant Martin Freeman, the beautiful Rosamund Pike, and noted British thesps Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan. The movie’s opening in the UK before it hits the States, but we’ll finally be able to see it on Aug. 23. Will it be worth the wait? Watch the new trailer, and judge for yourself!
