Up until now a majority of the trailers and clips from The Master have focused on the male leads, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. We've seen quick shots of Amy Adams' character, but nothing really to discern much about her character.
The actress stopped by The Late show with David Letterman and debuted a new clip which shows her character rather teed off. The clip, like much of the footage we've seen up to know has a very hypnotic, dream-like quality to it, with Hoffman banging away on a typewriter in the background while Adams recites her speech.
The Master has held a early screenings in L.A., San Francisco and Chicago and will be screening at both Toronto and Fantastic Fest film festivals in the coming weeks. The film hits theaters September 14.
If you're curious to watch Anna Kendrick sing, you'll get plenty of it when Pitch Perfect hits theaters October 5. Kendrick returns to her musical theater roots in this clip as she leads an a capella version of Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are. Here's a taste of the film that will surely appeal to the Glee crowd.
