Earlier today Vince Vaughn participated in a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session to promote his upcoming film Delivery Man. During the Q&A session, Vaughn answered a number of sequel questions including ones about Swingers, Wedding Crashers and Anchorman.
While Vaughn confirmed that he will indeed be in Anchorman: The Legend Continues in theaters next month, he also shed light on a couple of his other former starring roles. Here's what he had to say.
Q: Would you return for Jurassic Park 4 and wreak more havoc?
A: No plans and people seem to cause a lot of havoc without me there.
Q: Old School 2? Maybe? Please...
A: Old School 2 nothing immediately planned although there is a script.
Q: Can you tell us anything about the Dodgeball sequel?
A: I heard that they're working on a script for it. That's all I know. But if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball. Never a truer statement ever said.
Finally, one of the biggest questions about Delivery Man is how similar/different it is to the French-Canadian original Starbuck. Vaughn addressed a fan's question regarding the matter.
Q: I’m a big fan of the French-Canadian film Starbuck. Had you seen the movie before signing on to do Delivery Man? Are there many differences between the two films?
A: We have the same writer-director who did the U.S. version. When DreamWorks came to me to do the movie I was excited to know that it was the same writer-director, and I asked him why are you wanting to do this movie again. He's a very passionate filmmaker, he was very excited to tell the story here. There are some differences between the film but the core of the story is the same.
