Universal Sets Release Date for 'Jurassic Park IV'

In a bit of a surprise announcement, Universal has set a release date for Jurassic Park IV. The film, which will find Steven Spielberg producing, is set to arrive in theaters June 13, 2014.

No director or cast have been selected for the project but anticipation has been high since rumors of a fourth Jurassic movie have been floating around for quite some time.

"We're trying to come up with a story that makes sense and isn't going to disappoint people and is, hopefully, going to get people excited and reinvigorate the franchise," fellow producer Kathleen Kennedy said.

The original Jurassic Park is slated to get a 3D re-release on April 5.

So now comes the big question of what this fourth movie should be about. From Kennedy's statement, it sounds as though Universal is looking to put out more than one Jurassic movie.

What are your thoughts? Excited that Jurassic Park IV is now a reality? What should the movie be about? Who should direct and star in it?
