Twilight Updates: 'Eclipse' Trailer News, Stewart Talks 'Breaking Dawn'

It wasn't hard to predict exactly when Summit Entertainment would be releasing the first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. I've been saying for weeks now that it'd probably arrive in front of Robert Pattinson's Remember Me, and now we have official confirmation that I was correct (not to mention incredibly awesome and what not). So, yeah, as if you needed a reason to go see Robert Pattinson woo more ladies on the big screen, know that if you do you'll be rewarded with a first look at the next Twilight film, due in theaters on June 30th.

Kristen Stewart

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart has been chatting up Breaking Dawn while out doing publicity for The Yellow Handkerchief, which is a smaller indie she co-starred in. She didn't spill too many beans – and she didn't talk about not being signed on to star in an additional film if Breaking Dawn were to split in two – but she did admit to wanting it to be in two parts. During a roundtable discussion, she said (via Cinematical), "I can't imagine they wouldn't want [to make two]. The story so completely warrants two films and it would be really disappointing to have to be able to go, okay, we have to lose this sequence and this scene and this sequence. So I would like to do two movies, but I to be completely honest don't know what they're going to do."
I think she knows a lot more than she's letting on, but it's typical of actors not to discuss a movie they aren't signed onto yet, or are still trying to negotiate. Knowing Stewart wants to do it, though, means that the ball is entirely in Summit's court. Expect more scoops when Stewart does press for The Runaways in the next couple weeks (by the way, we also saw The Runaways at Sundance...here's our interview with Kristen and Dakota).
