'Twilight' Fans: Rank the Films from Best to Worst

Breaking Dawn Part 2, which opens today, finally puts a cap on the five-part Twilight series, adapting the second half of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novel and delivering a satisfying conclusion to the beloved vampire-and-werewolf franchise.

I’m going to go out on a limb and call it the best film in the Twilight series, an installment that’s as violent and passionate as it is sentimental for the characters we’ve come to care about over the years. Director Bill Condon builds on the groundwork he established in Breaking Dawn Part 1, embracing the camp sensations that are inherent to Meyer’s prose while also attempting a (very) bold twist that’s bound to shock even the most rabid fans.

Yes, even if you read the book before going in.

Needless to say, as we wrap up the series, we want you rewind to the beginning, to look back on the long-running franchise and rank them in order from best to worst. Where would the original Twilight film fall? How about New Moon or Eclipse? Is Breaking Dawn Part 2 the best of the bunch? Or do you disagree with me?

Many, many of you revisited the franchise as part of the Twilight Marathon. So once you’ve seen Breaking Dawn Part 2, rank them in order of your favorite in the comments section below. Celebrate the Twilight Saga with fans, and let’s see if we can come up with a consensus “Best Twilight Movie Ever!”

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 opens everywhere today, Friday, Nov. 16.
