'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' Casts Newcomer as Rensemee and Maggie Grace as Irina

The cast for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, is beginning to take shape, with multiple sources reporting today on a couple of pretty big roles that may have found a home. First up, Entertainment Weekly tells us that 9-year-old newcomer Mackenzie Foy is likely to play at least one version of Renesmee, who's the child of Edward and Bella. We say one version, because at this time we're not sure how many different Renesmees will be featured in the film considering the character's rapid growth throughout the book. EW does say, however, that digital effects will be used to age up or down, similar to the way it was done for Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Chances are you're not familiar with Foy, who's chalked up a few lesser-known TV credits and is said to be a kids' fashion model … so break out that Gap circular!

Maggie Grace

In addition to the Renesmee casting, Maggie Grace has also signed on to play the vampire Irina, a feisty vegetarian vampire who's all bent out of shape and pissed at the Cullens because she blames them for the death of her lover Laurent, who died in New Moon. Yeah, so she enters the equation and causes all sorts of problems for Bella, Edward and their new child, Renesmee.
As we previously told you, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be split up into two parts, and it won't be shot in 3D (though it may be converted to 3D after the fact). The first installment is due in theaters on November 19th, 2011.
What do you think about the casting? Is it possible for one actress to play Renesmee in both installments, or will they need to cast more females?
