Transformers 4: New Trailer, Posters and a Quick Preview of Our Set Visit

When one visits the set of a Michael Bay film -- especially for a Transformers movie -- one hopes to see things blow up real good. And blow up good they did.

Fandango was one of a few media outlets invited to Bay's fourth installment in the hit franchise, and we got to see firsthand how the director intends to raise the bar on his previous work: bigger, bolder and hopefully better.

In between squibs going off and on-set pyrotechnics, we sat down with several key members of the cast and crew -- including star Mark Wahlberg, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and the Bay himself (!) -- to discuss the latest threats facing Optimus Prime and the Autobots.

While we have to hold off on sharing all the secrets we learned until closer to the June 27 release, we can tell you that the trailer only hints at the what fans of the franchise crave: more action, an exceptional international scope and, naturally, Optimus riding a Dinobot.

We'll have more to nerd out about in our set visit report later this year.
