Trailers: 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D,' Angelina Jolie's 'In the Land of Blood and Honey,' Scorsese's 'Hugo'

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D

If you're searching for a shot of nostalgia or masochistic enough to want to endure Jar Jar Binks all over again, then get ready cuz the first 3D re-release from the Star Wars franchise is just around the corner. Re-live 1999 again with the first trailer for the 3D version of Phantom Menace which opens February 10, 2012.

Written and directed by Angelina Jolie, In the Land of Blood and Honey borrows on the familiar themes of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, only in this case, the setting is the Balkan region during the 1990s Bosnian War. The story centers on Danijel, a soldier fighting for the Serbs and Ajla, a Bosnian captive in the camp he oversees. The two knew each other before the war and could have found love together but the war tears them apart and their relationship grows darker with each passing day. In the Land of Blood and Honey opens December 23.

In the second trailer for Martin Scorsese's family adventure movie Hugo, drama dominates. Unlike the first trailer, which gave off a whimsical vibe of fantastic adventure and mystery, this latest trailer takes a darker, more measured tone. Take a look below at the latest Hugo trailer which received solid buzz from those who saw an unfinished version at the New York Film Festival earlier this month. Hugo opens November 23.
