Trailers: DeNiro Meets Paul Dano in 'Being Flynn,' Bruce Willis Is Caught in a 'Catch .44,' Michelle Yeoh Packs Emotional Punch as 'The Lady'

Being Flynn

The movie has undergone several title changes over the past year, beginning with its crude Another Bulls**t Night in Suck City to Another Night to let's shelve this thing for a couple months and revisit it another day. Alas, we've arrived at the rather benign compromise of Being Flynn which finds Robert DeNiro playing a brilliant but troubled writer/father who through some fated coincidence meets a twenty-something man (Paul Dano) who works at a homeless shelter in Boston. The twist – the young man is his son! The debut trailer co-stars Julianne Moore and Olivia Thirlby and is slated for release sometime in 2012.

Bruce Willis headlines this action drama about three young women who take on a job to intercept a double-cross drug shipment for their crime boss at an isolated diner. Things of course go awry and a chain of events is set into motion putting everyone, including Forrest Whitaker, Malin Akerman, Nikki Reed, Michael Rosenbaum and Deborah Ann Woll in danger. Catch .44 arrives in theaters December 20.

Luc Besson's fingers-crossed Oscar bait starring martial arts/Asian cinema legend Michelle Yeoh has received an international trailer that packs quite the emotional punch. While the domestic trailer was a bit choppier jumping to various points in the movie, the international version highlights Yeoh, who definitely hits all the right notes. Whether Academy members will reward Yeoh or this movie with a nomination is best left for the pundits to argue over. For the rest of us, check out the international trailer below. The Lady arrives in theaters December 2.
