Trailer Watch: 'Source Code' and 'The Green Hornet'

Source Code

Jake GyllenhaalMoon director Duncan Jones returns to screens with a sophomore effort that seems packed with the same sort of smart science fiction that made Jones a household name last year. In Source Code, due out this April, Jake Gyllenhaal plays some sort of solider involved in a futuristic program that allows the military to send him into the body of a person who's about to die in a train bombing eight minutes before the bomb detonates.
The plan is to try to get him to identify the bombers before it goes off, and each time he fails, he wakes up in his normal body only to be told to go back and do it again. Problems arise when he begins to care about the people around him (including one female, played by Michelle Monaghan), and … well, watch the trailer for yourself below and let us know what you think.

The Green Hornet
Marketing for The Green Hornet is beginning to heat up with the film arriving in January, and the second full-length trailer has been released. Directed by Michel Gondry, and starring Seth Rogen as the iconic masked avenger who thwarts crime with his trusty sidekick Kato, this film looks to be one that might surprise people with its stylish action and humor. Rogen is a guy who always manages to get laughs, and Gondry is the very definition of a visionary director. Put those two pieces together and we should have the makings of a film that at the very least will provide a fun night out at the movies.
Check out the trailer and let us know whether this masked avenger movie has a chance to kick off 2011 in a fantastic way.
