Trailer: Saoirse Ronan, Gemma Arterton are Vampires in 'Byzantium'

Gemma Arterton may be enjoying the success of her most recent film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, but soon the attention will turn to her next film, Byzantium.

The latest trailer for Neil Jordan's fantasy thriller finds Arterton playing Saoirse Ronan's mom. The twist? They both share vampire bloodlines. The film centers on Ronan's character, Eleanor, who falls for a young man (Caleb Landry Jones) and consequently chaos ensues.

If Jordan's name seems familiar, it's because he directed another vampire-themed classic with 1994's Interview with the Vampire.

Jonny Lee Miller and Sam Riley also appear in the film, which earned mixed reviews when it screened at the Toronto Film Festival last September.

The film doesn't have a domestic release date yet, but will begin rolling out in theaters internationally beginning in April.

Check out the trailer below and sound off with your thoughts on the film. Like what you see?
