Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Celebrities Galore Cram into First Full Trailer for 'Muppets Most Wanted'

Years ago, when Jim Henson’s insanely clever Muppets broke it big with 1979’s The Muppet Movie, the crew quickly followed it up with a crime-themed musical comedy The Great Muppet Caper. All was right with the world.
Fast forward to 2013. Hollywood needs a sequel to 2011’s surprise hit The Muppets. They take Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy and the gang and drop them into… a crime-themed musical comedy. Why not, right? It worked so well the last time!
Muppets Most Wanted finds Kermit in jail because an international thief who looks EXACTLY like him is committing a wave of crimes. Now, it’s up to the Muppets – and a string of all-star guests – to set their favorite frog free and clear his name. The first full trailer dropped on Yahoo Movies. Check it out below:

Accents, accents, everywhere! Tina Fey is trying a Russian accent. Ty Burrell affects a French lilt. Fake Kermit is pretending to be real Kermit. Gonzo sounds like… well, Gonzo. It looks like a lot of fun!
James Bobin returns to direct this Muppet sequel, which costars Ray Liotta, Salma Hayek, Christoph Waltz, Danny Trejo, Ross Lynch, Bridgit Mendler, Tom Hiddleston and Lady Gaga. Because sure! It opens in theaters on March 21, 2014.
