It’s Halloween time, and there’s no one better to ring in the scariest of holidays than Jack Skellington himself.

If you’re throwing a Halloween party, Jack Skellington candy apples made with mini apples are a fun holiday treat. Jack’s face is more sweet than spooky and this delightful dessert makes any party even more festive and fun. Watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, make up these holiday snacks and have a happy Halloween!

You’ll need:

8 small lady apples

8 lollipop sticks

12 ounces white candy melts

Black icing

Directions:

Rinse and thoroughly dry the apples. Remove the stems, then poke the sticks into the tops, set aside.

Melt the candy melts according to package directions. Dip the apples to cover, then place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment to set.

Once the candy melts have hardened, use a #3 tip and black icing to create Jack’s eyes and mouth.

When the icing has dried the apples are ready to serve.
