The Rock Confirms Upcoming DC Comics Project; Who Could He Be Playing?

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had a pretty busy and successful 2013 and he closed out the year by hosting one of his frequent "Rock Talk" social media events where he answers fan questions.

One of those questions that may be of particular interest to comic book movie fans, specifically those who are waiting to hear more about Warner Bros.' plans in adapting DC Comics properties for the big screen.

While Johnson doesn't say which character he had a meeting for, he's long been rumored to possibly play interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter Lobo. The character enjoyed a brief run as one of DC's most popular characters during the 1990s. He's also Stan Lee's favorite DC Comics character.

Of course there's also the possibility that the Rock could be doing a cameo in Batman vs. Superman, which begins filming in 2014. Could this meeting possibly set up a cameo and then a stand-alone project for the actor?

Who do you think he might be up to play?
