'The Fantastic Four' Casting Update: Saoirse Ronan, Kit Harington Among Actors Being Sought

Not only has Saoirse Ronan recently tested for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, but according to Variety, she's one of the leading candidates to play Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman in Fox' Fantastic Four reboot.

Casting is beginning to pick up with a number of actors being mentioned for the four lead roles. In addition to Ronan, Kate Mara (left) and Margot Robbie (center) are also being considered for the Sue Storm role. That's quite an age range from Ronan (19) to Mara (30).

So who is being looked at for Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards? The trade reports that Game of Thrones star Kit Harington (center) and 300: Rise of an Empire's Jack O'Connell (left) are testing for the part. Meanwhile, earlier rumors of Miles Teller (right) being up for the role are apparently legit, with the actor still in contention.

Variety also notes that Michael B. Jordan appears to be set to play Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch because, "he's the only name being mentioned as a possibility." Of course, that's not to say that another actor might come into contention for the role once Storm and Richards are cast.

As far as the fourth and final member of the Fantastic Four, there is still no word as to who is being looked at to portray Ben Grimm aka the Thing. Might Fox and Trank be looking into the CG technology Joss Whedon used in transforming Mark Ruffalo into the Incredible Hulk?

There's also no word on a villain for the reboot although there is still plenty of time before The Fantastic Four return to theaters. The reboot is currently slated for a March 16, 2015 release.

What do you think of the actors mentioned for the various roles in this reboot?
