Tell Us the First Movie You Watched in 2011

Happy New Year Fandango Fans! In the coming days and weeks we'll be discussing the upcoming year in movies at great length (including a post later this week asking for your most anticipated 2011 titles), but in the meantime we'd like to know which film you decided to watch first in the New Year.

WhiteoutSome hardcore movie fans are a little superstitious when it comes to which movie they choose to watch first in a new year because it sets the tone for the next 12 months of movie watching. Pick a bad film and you'll have a bad year. Alternatively, pick a good film and you'll have a good year. Personally, I'm not superstitious, and I say that only because the group I spent the holiday with chose to watch Kate Beckinsale's Whiteout soon after the ball dropped, and, well, if you've seen Whiteout you know what I'm talking about. Ugh, indeed.
So which film did you kick off 2011 with? Something in movie theaters? At home? And how carefully do you choose which film you watch first in the New Year? Are you superstitious?
