Take a Look Inside 'R.I.P.D.' with Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and New Pics

For comic book movie fans that aren't sweating it out in various lines at Comic-Con next weekend, Universal is releasing its action-comedy R.I.P.D. starring Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges into theaters.

It's a busy weekend as another comic book movie, RED 2, will also be bowing into theaters as well as the animated family film Turbo (also a Reynolds movie) and the horror flick The Conjuring. Turbo gets a jump on the competition with a Wednesday release.

Projections have the four new releases eating into each other's box office and right now, R.I.P.D. is at the back of the four-horse race. To that end, Universal has released a new featurette featuring interviews with stars Reynolds and Bridges as well as extended scenes. The entire clip runs about three minutes. Take a look.

Also, over the long holiday weekend, new pics from the movie arrived online and include a look at one of the film's lead bad guys played by Kevin Bacon as well as Mary-Louise Parker (who is also part of the RED 2 ensemble) and Marisa Miller smushed up against a bus windshield. R.I.P.D. opens July 19. Tickets are currently on sale.
