'Spider-Man' Photos Give Us Best Look at Jamie Foxx in Character

Neither of Spider-Man’s foes in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 look too terrifying. That’s because neither of them have undergone serious changes just yet.
But Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) and Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) will eventually cause serious problems for Andrew Garfield’s costumed superhero … at least, if director Marc Webb follows the lore established in the classic Marvel comics.
Webb Tweeted out the first official image of Foxx as meek Max Dillon over the weekend. “My name is Max,” the filmmaker wrote, answering the flood of on-set photos that hit the Web of Foxx as a blue-skinned Electro. The above image is Dillon in his human state. Hardly a threat, though he does seem to have an unhealthy Spider-Man obsession.
Not one to be outdone, DeHaan took to his own Twitter feed to share an official look at himself in character as Harry Osborn, Peter Parker’s best friend whose father happens to be the guy who becomes The Green Goblin.
That’s going to be a problem for Parker eventually, no?
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is busily filming around New York City, and will be the movie that kicks off the Summer Blockbuster Season in 2014. For now, what do you think of the images that hit the Web over the weekend? Are you ready to see both of these actors in costume, and possibly kicking Spider-Man’s tail?
