'Smurfs 2' Trailer Jets to Paris, Introduces the Naughties

In their first big-screen adventure, the miniature Smurfs traveled all the way to New York City in search of adventure. For the follow-up, Papa Smurf, Smurfette and the rest of the blue crew will head to Paris (and beyond) to thwart the evil Gargamel (Hank Azaria) and his latest scheme for world domination.

Or so the new trailer has us believe:

Meet “The Naughties,” pale-skinned duplicates created in Gargamel’s laboratory who trick Smurfette (Katy Perry) into letting her golden-blonde hair down and being naughty … creating all kinds of problems for our tiny heroes.
Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays and Sofia Vergara return for the sequel, which promises to showcase the voices of Brendan Gleeson, Katy Perry, Jonathan Winters, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, George Lopez, Anton Yelchin, Christina Ricci, JB Smoove and John Oliver. The sequel to the original Smurfs is set for release on July 29, 2013.
And no, we’re not smurfing with you.
