Shia LaBeouf Calls 'Indiana Jones 5' Story 'Crazy'

Though Harrison Ford has been off playing a cowboy who fights aliens, and Steven Spielberg has been busy planning his next film War Horse, that's not stopping these guys from gearing up for the next Indiana Jones movie. Yup, that's right – there will indeed be another Indiana Jones film at some point in the next couple years (I'd guess summer 2013), and if Shia LaBeouf is to be believed, the film will be "crazy."

Indiana Jones

After publicly bashing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull not too long ago, LaBeouf is back … though this time he's focused his attention on getting people pumped up for the next film. Just the fact that he's talking about it confirms that, yes, he will be back as Indiana Jones' son Mutt, telling Showbiz Spy that Steven Spielberg pitched him the idea for the next film and that it's "crazy" and "really cool."

No word on when they'll get that up and running, though the script is apparently being written now and we should assume Spielberg will direct it after he finishes up War Horse.

Do you think there's more left in the Indiana Jones franchise, or is Harrison Ford too old at this point to be an action hero? And what are your guesses on where they intend to take the story next? Sound off below …
