While most female icons in family-friendly films are pure of heart and good intentions (Snow White, Dorothy, Belle, Hermione Granger and Ariel, just to name a few) there are a whole slew of female film icons who are scheming, devious, dastardly and just plain EVIL.
The newest female baddie set to torment our screens is Scarlet Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock), a stylish scoundrel who’s determined to not only dominate the world but to become the first female super-villain in Minions. In celebration of the ladies we love to loathe, here are eight of the most notorious villains from favorite family-friendly flicks.
