Jurassic World has begun filming in Hawaii, and to celebrate the studio has started dribbling out some fun tidbits for fans. Entertainment Weekly had the premiere of a trio of images from the set, which are the first official images from the movie. The most interesting picture is the one above of star Bryce Dallas Howard. We obviously shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but all-white dress, red hair and appropriately sharp business haircut has us pinning her down as someone who is up to no good-- or at least works for someone who is up to no good. Then again, maybe we're just projecting since she looks eerily like she could be the flashback version of Fringe's Nina Sharp.

EW has two more pictures from the set, but they're fairly nondescript. One is of a banged up construction truck, the other is a view of some verdant, rolling hills that do indeed look like they could be from Steven Spielberg's original film.

As for the news part, director Collin Trevorrow has confirmed that the film will make use of animatronic dinosaurs, which is a great relief considering the T. rex from the first film is still a more awe-inspiring piece of movie magic than even today's top-of-the-line CGI. And on top of that, Trevorrow told Empire that sequels are already in the works.

Regarding the actual plot of Jurassic World, so far all we really know is that it returns to the Isla Nublar location seen in the first film, it's set 22 years later, and Trevorrow says, "It’s about alpha dominance and the fact that humans have been the alpha species for a very long time, and so now we’ve brought back another that happened to be the alpha species during its time, and we have to coexist, so what is that relationship?"

We're guessing it's a relationship that involves carnage and the hubris of man coming back tenfold. That's just a guess, though. Maybe dinos and mankind get along really well, and they're super happy living in zoos and being our pets. But don't count on it.

Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
