'Scott Pilgrim' Poster Debuts at the Alamo Drafthouse

Austin’s ultra-cool Alamo Drafthouse movie theater has teamed up with Universal Studios to create a special edition poster for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The poster will be on sale tonight at a special screening and a very limited number will be available Friday at the Drafthouse’s equally cool collectible art website, Mondo.

The showing at the Drafthouse will feature director Edgar Wright and members of the cast as well as a special movie-themed menu (something the Drafthouse does regularly...and that we'd love to see spread to other theaters...i.e. - more Drafthouses). Attendees will be able to enjoy one of the following items for free, courtesy of Universal Studios: three huge pieces of garlic bread (Scott Pilgrim’s favorite food), a bowl of poutine (French fries covered with gravy and cheese), vegetarian spaghetti served with garlic bread, or, if you’re feeling particularly indulgent, you can nourish your sweet tooth with the “Seven Layers of Evil Exes Cake,” a seven-layered chocolate cake separated with chocolate butter cream and topped with whipped cream.

Then kick back and watch Michael Cera battle his way into Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s heart...Pilgrim opens everywhere else tomorrow, Friday, the 13th (sweet).
