Scoop This: Secret ‘Star Wars’ Production, More on ‘Little Fockers’ and New ‘Transformers 2’ Trailer

Right now in Los Angeles, LucasFilm is shooting some secret Star Wars footage featuring Boba Fett, C3PO, Admiral Ackbar and Jawas. No, it’s not for a commercial, one of the Star Wars-related TV shows or, Imagethankfully, another live-action movie – instead, they’re filming new footage to be included in Disney’s Star Tours ride. The ride, which hasn’t received any significant updates since 1987 (according to Slashfilm), will be a major part of this summer’s Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida.

Apparently they’ve added some characters from the prequels, and changed it so that during the ride’s action sequence, you will now be chased by Boba Fett himself. Slashfilm thinks some of the footage may be in 3-D, but that’s not confirmed. Also on tap for Star Wars Weekends are games, attractions, celebrity appearances and much more. Head over here for more info.

Meet The Little Fockers

Remember we told you they were getting ready to film a third installment in the Meet the Parents franchise, and that this new film, called Little Fockers, would feature Ben Stiller and Teri Polo’s characters as parents to either one kid or more? Well, SpoilerTV got hold of some casting sheets and learned there’s more than one kid and they aren’t tiny babies. Nope, we’re talkin’ five-year-old twins – a boy and a girl.

Here’s what casting agents are looking for: “Henry and Ashley, the twin son and daughter of Ben Stiller and Teri Polo. HENRY is kind and a little oversensitive. He has a pet lizard who he loves, and likes to imitate. He likes to sing and dance. He gets along by withdrawing from conflict with other kids, and likes to play solo on the schoolyard. ASHLEY is a tomboy. She can be a little bit of a bully, but she loves her twin brother. She likes finding out things, especially if it's something a grownup doesn't want her to know.”

Still looking forward to the sequel? Do you think there would’ve been more laughs if the kids were younger, or would you prefer them to be a bit older?

Video of the Week: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer

Yesterday a new full-length trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen arrived online over at Yahoo, and it definitely showed a darker, nastier sequel that still includes some humor, but triples the amount of action and explosions. The robots are bigger, the fight scenes look more extravagant and, well, how can you not adore Ms. Megan Fox – who’s leaving her hot rod fetish to work on motorcycles in really short shorts. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters on June 24.
