Scoop This: 'New Moon' Poster Hits Tomorrow, Cooper May Join A-Team and Peter Berg Sinks Your Battleship

Calling all Twilight fans, the time has come to line up and feast your eyes on the approximate time as to when you’ll be able to view the first movie poster for New Moon! Summit Entertainment announced today that the debut poster for New Moon (a sequel to last year’s Twilight; both of which are based on Stephanie Meyers’ novels) will arrive online and in newspapers across the country tomorrow morning. Believe it!

While there’s no word on what (or who) will be on the poster, I have a hunch Robert Pattinson may make an appearance. But a poster is lame, right? You want the real stuff; the footage – the characters in action. Good news, then, because the first clip from New Moon will premiere during the MTV Movie Awards on May 31. So tune in for the poster tomorrow and the clip on May 31.

Bradley Cooper Rumored to Star in Another Big Action Film

Although he hasn’t really made a name for himself as "the go-to guy for big important action flicks," Bradley Cooper sure as hell found a way to get his name tossed around the rumorville. While nothing is official as of yet, IESB reports that Cooper is up for the role of Templeton "Faceman" Peck in the long-awaited A-Team movie.

Remember, Cooper is also apparently up for the role of Green Lantern in that new movie, so I guess someone sees the potential in Cooper – who seems poised to become the next…guy who came out of nowhere and landed several giant films all at once. So far the only other rumored cast member of A-Team is Common as B.A. Baracus. Smokin’ Joe Carnahan is currently slated to direct.

What do you think about the potential A-Team casting so far?

Peter Berg (And Maybe Robert Pattinson) Sinks Your Battleship

Oh, you totally knew they were coming! The first of many soon-to-be movies based on popular board games might have just snagged its director. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Peter Berg is in talks to direct Battleship, based on the popular Hasbro game known for the famous line "You’ve sunk my battleship!"

No word on plot just yet, though Universal is looking to dish out an epic naval action adventure. You hear that: Epic! As far as stars go, PerezHilton reported that Robert Pattinson was recently spotted with Peter Berg, fueling rumors that Pattinson may be featured in either this movie or Berg’s planned Dune remake. Could it be true? Which flick would you rather see R-Pat sign up for?
