Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann Teaming for 'Knocked Up' Spinoff

Leslie Mann and Paul RuddIf you liked Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann's married couple characters from Judd Apatow's Knocked Up, then get ready for lots more as Universal has announced that Apatow's next film that he will write and direct will focus squarely on those characters, which Rudd and Mann will reprise in an untitled film due out on June 1, 2012. This isn't a sequel or a prequel, but more along the lines of what Universal did with Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek. It'll be an entirely new story featuring the same characters from the original film. Seeing as the duo were hilarious in Knocked Up, this is definitely something to look forward to. Thoughts?

Andy Samberg and Johnny Knoxville to Play 'Three Stooges'?

The search is still on for actors to take on the personas of The Three Stooges in a long-gestating biopic that will be directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly (There's Something About Mary). Originally the film was supposed to star folks like Jim Carrey, Sean Penn and Benicio del Toro, but that version slowly perished. Now they're looking to kickstart it again with a shortlist of actors that includes Andy Samberg, Johnny Knoxville and an Australian comedian named Shane Jacobson.

Obviously we can see they're looking for strong comedians who are good at physical humor (which fits with both Samberg and Knoxville), and it fits in with the filmmaker's plan to divide up the PG-rated film into 27-minute segments that include lots of physical comedy. Do you think that sort of thing will work?

Wrath of the Titans, which is being shot in 3D this time around, is due in theaters on March 30, 2012. Are you looking forward to it?
