Scoop This: 'Clash of the Titans 2' Release Date, Nic Cage in 'Medallion' and 'Take Me Home Tonight' Trailer

Clash of The Titans 2 Release Date

Clash of the TitansFor those looking forward to more titans clashing in 3D, Warner Bros. has announced that Clash of the Titans 2 (aka Wrath of the Titans) will hit theaters on March 30th, 2012. This time around it will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman, who, thankfully, will shoot in 3D (versus the cruddy rushed conversion job done on the first film). Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson are expected to return.
Nicolas Cage Set for Medallion
No, you're right: Nicolas Cage is starring in every other film these days. Seriously though, the guy is pumping out like four films a year right now, and he's not looking to slow up anytime soon. The actor has just signed on to star in Medallion, to be directed by Simon West (Con Air, Tomb Raider). In the film, Cage will play a former criminal on the hunt for his daughter who's been kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a taxi cab. Sounds like Taken meets Die Hard 3, and considering both those films kick ass – not to mention how much fun it is to watch Nic Cage lose his mind -- that's just fine by us. No word on release date, but we should probably expect it at some point next year.
Take Me Home Tonight Trailer
If you combined Adventureland and Can't Hardly Wait, you'd get Take Me Home Tonight – a fun-looking flick that takes place in the 1980s and follows a video store clerk on a wild night of partying, troublemaking and finding true love. Topher Grace and Anna Faris star. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
