Samuel L. Jackson Talks 'Avengers'

Samuel L. Jackson took time to speak with the BBC over the weekend and addressed his now infamous stolen script debacle as well as talk a bit about his character in the Avengers movie and being on the set with the rest of the cast.

First, the script. Jackson says that it was a complete accident in which his assistant went to print the script out but didn’t realize the printer had a memory. From there, “somebody, somewhere realized… ‘Hey, this is the Avengers script.’”

The conversation then moved on to being on set with the cast with Jackson commenting that, “it’s just funny to stand there, look around the room and see everybody. Thor’s standing there in his costume, Captain America, sometimes he’s dressed, sometimes he’s not, Scarlett is there as Black Widow, Robert Downey’s there. It’s just amazing to look around the room and see all those guys there.”

Jackson then addressed his character, saying that, “I’m actually doing more than I’ve done in any of the other films, so, you don’t have to wait ‘til the end of the movie to see me.” Jackson said his Nick Fury character is around the entire movie and has action scenes. “I actually do things to people in this movie.”

How he approaches the Nick Fury character as well as his next project were the next topics covered in the interview which you can watch below.
