SAG Award Noms: '12 Years a Slave,' 'August: Osage County' and 'Dallas Buyers Club' Lead the Pack

Hollywood woke up early today to announce nominations for the 2014 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, which honor the year's finest acting on both the big and small screens. The winners will be announced live on TNT and TBS on January 18. As far as movies go, 12 Years a Slave was the biggest standout, pulling in four nominations. The immensely powerful film about one man's 12-year journey as a slave in the deep South took home a nomination in every category except lead actress. Right behind it with three nominations a piece were the darkly hilarious family drama August: Osage County, Lee Daniels' The Butler and Dallas Buyers Club, the latter of which surprised with a nomination for Best Ensemble, which is like SAG's version of Best Picture.

As far as snubs go, the most noticeable is Robert Redford not being nominated for his gut-wrenching, one man show of a performance in All Is Lost. Also missing is Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, whose lack of nominations is odd and might be due to the film screening too late in the season for some voters. The biggest surprises among the nominees include James Gandolfini scoring a nomination for his role as a divorced guy trying to find someone to love him for him in the terrific rom-com Enough Said. Also, nice to see Daniel Bruhl recognized for his stone-faced portrayal of Formula One race car driver Niki Lauda in Rush

Check out all the movie nominations below, and let us know who you'll be rooting for come January 18.
