Robert Pattinson's Next Role: A Billionaire Playboy

Wondering what Robert Pattinson plans to do once the Twilight series of films are over? No, he's not planning on moving to Forks, Washington and officially changing his name to Edward Cullen (though fans would lose it if he did that). Instead, he's eying a various amount of interesting roles with some pretty top notch directors. Unlike Taylor Lautner, who seems to be making a move toward action movies, Pattinson wants to settle down with some meaty dramas having already filmed Bel Ami and Water for Elephants in between Twilight movies.

Now, according to Deadline, Pattinson has snagged the lead role in Cosmopolis, a big-screen adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel that will be directed by David Cronenberg. It's a big role for Pattinson – perhaps his biggest yet, not including Twilight – and he'll most likely be starring opposite Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti. In the film, Pattinson will play a billionaire whose life begins to slowly spiral out of control on one April day in the year 2000, with most of the action taking place inside the main character's (played by Pattinson) stretched limo.

Is this a good role for Pattinson? Do you think he could play a reclusive billionaire whose life begins to crumble inside a stretched limousine?
