Quickhits: 'Deathly Hallows', 'Battleship', 'Sex and the City 2' and More!

Welcome to Quick Hits – your chance to catch up on some of this week's hottest stories in less than 60 seconds. Ready? Go!

Say Goodbye to Potter – The first official image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I has arrived online, and it shows our three main heroes, Harry, Hermione and Ron, looking all determined and disheveled as they leave the comforts of Hogwarts and head out into the real world in order to bring a stop to Lord Voldemort once and for all. The first part of the two-part final installment hits theaters on November 19, 2010.

Sink This 'Battleship' – Peter Berg is now dishing some scoop on the board game adaptation of Battleship ahead of the film's production. According to sites like CHUD and Latino Review, the film will follow a fleet of ships that go to battle against an opposing fleet of – wait for it – aliens! Yes, aliens will sink your Battleship this time around.

'Sex and the City 2' Images – The first official images from Sex and the City 2 have found their way online, and they appropriately show our main star, Sarah Jessica Parker, walking the streets of New York City alongside her man Mr. Big (what's up with that name anyway?)…which is an image we've seen only about 356,000 times before. But still, it's exciting to see these ladies (and Mr. Big) back together again…I think.

'The Hobbit' Delayed – Those anticipating that first Hobbit film in 2011 may have to wait a tad longer as it's now being reported that the start date on both films has shifted from March 2010 to mid-summer 2010, which, according to some, means it's likely the release date of the first installment will be pushed from 2011 to 2012. Bummer.

'The Hangover 2' is Coming – Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, director Todd Phillips said that the script for the buzzed-about sequel to this past summer's biggest comedy is about halfway done. Though he wouldn't say what it was about, he did note that it won't rehash the same events from the first film and instead will follow these characters on an entirely new adventure.

'The Karate Kid' is Back (sort of) – The first official photos from this summer's not-so-long-awaited remake of The Karate Kid have arrived online. The film stars Jaden Smith (aka Will Smith's son) as a kid in need of some martial arts training, while Jackie Chan will fill in the role of mentor. The film is set to hit theaters on June 11th.

Will Ferrell to Play 'American Idol's' Simon Cowell? – Well, not so fast. Though Ferrell did say recently that his dream role would be to play Simon Cowell in a biopic, there's no real film in the works…yet. Says Ferrell, ""I would love to play Simon Cowell in a movie -- heck, I would love it. It would be my dream role. It wouldn't be that hard for me to play him because I see a lot of Ron Burgundy in Simon Cowell. Like Simon, Ron was the biggest thing on TV, loved himself -- they are like long-lost twin brothers separated at birth." Whaddya think – could it work?

So which of these films are you all looking forward to the most?
