Quick Tease: 13-Second 'Breaking Dawn Part 2' Clip Sets Up Friday's 'Twilight' Trailer

Not so fast, Katniss Everdeen. Lest we think The Hunger Games is the only teen-lit sensation taking over our movie theaters, Summit Entertainment would like to remind audiences that it has its own massive franchise waiting in the wings.

The studio strategically programmed the first full trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 to break on Friday, right as The Hunger Games starts luring patrons to area theaters.

But because this is 2012, where we need trailers for our trailers, Summit also released a 13-second tease for Friday’s clip. We have it below:

"We’re the same temperature now," Edward (Robert Pattinson) tells his beloved Bella (Kristen Stewart). Now that’s a pick-up line only a vampire could pull off.

There’s not a lot else in the tease. We see Bella bolting through the woods with souped-up vampire speed. And of course, Team Jacob gets reason to celebrate as Taylor Lautner reciteds one line of dialogue (yet keeps his shirt on).

Call it an appetizer before Friday’s main course. That’s when the full Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer hits, and you know we’ll have plenty of analysis right here on the site. So check back then. For now, Bill Condon directs the concluding chapter in the Twilight Saga. The sequel stars Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner in roles they’ve made iconic over the years.

The movie reaches theaters on Nov. 16.
