Quick Hits: Iron Man 2, Werewolves, Fantastic Mr. Fox and More!

Don't feel like surfing through multiple sites to get caught up on today's movie news? Fear not, my friends – welcome to Quick Hits, where you'll surely be able to devour the latest news way faster than it takes Entertainment Tonight to release videos from their Iron Man 2 set visit.

'Iron Man 2' Videos – Seriously, how many videos does Entertainment Tonight have for their Iron Man 2 set visit? A thousand? A million? Yesterday we brought you word on the third video from the set, and now they've managed to cough up two more featuring interviews with Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). Watch them both over here.
Werewolves That Make You 'Shiver' – Hot on the heels of Twilight comes this latest project based on Maggie Stiefvater's bestselling young adult novel, Shiver. The rights to the novel – which focuses on the love story between a teenage girl and a teenage werewolf – were picked up by producers (and former New Line chiefs) Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne. We'll only see it if the werewolves go shirtless for 90 minutes, what about you?
New 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' Trailer – The second full-length trailer for Wes Anderson's trippy puppet-like The Fantastic Mr. Fox has arrived online, complete with a quirky, hipster vibe and what looks to be a pretty entertaining premise. George Clooney and Meryl Streep (among many others) provide the voice support for this film about a fox who's desperately trying to out-fox (so to speak) three farmers that want him dead. Watch it right here.
All the Boys Love Uma ThurmanVariety tells us that Uma Thurman has just signed on to star in a comedy called Ceremony, which will be directed by Max Winkler and follow a young man (Michael Angarano) who falls in love with an older woman (Thurman) just as she's about to get married. Uncomfortable hilarity will ensue. Production begins on October 21 in Long Island, New York.
'500 Days of Summer' Director Loves 'Love' – And speaking of odd love stories, Marc Webb, director of this summer's indie hit 500 Days of Summer, has just signed on to helm a remake of the Danish thriller Ole Bornedal. The American version, to be called Just Another Love Story, will follow a crime scene photographer who pretends to be the boyfriend of an amnesiac, but finds himself in a rather sticky situation when her real boyfriend returns home. I imagine that's when the thriller part comes in, because other than that this sounds awesomely hilarious.
'Halloween 3D' on Hold – According to Deadline Hollywood, The Weinstein Co. has put a halt to Halloween 3D because they felt things were moving along a little too fast for their liking. A script for the film was just turned in, and they were supposed to begin production in November for an August 2010 release – but that turnaround was just too darn quick for the Weinstein boys, and so things will be delayed about half a year or so. In the meantime, the company has announced that they'll be re-releasing Halloween 2 in theaters on Halloween…because even though no one liked it when it hit theaters in August, maybe the holiday spirit will have people feeling a bit more generous.
