Peter Weller Joins 'Star Trek' Sequel, Benicio Del Toro Out

The revolving door is spinning at the Star Trek 2 casting lounge. Earlier this morning, Peter Weller, best known as Robocop, signed on to star, though the details on who exactly he is playing hasn't been revealed.

Meanwhile, Benicio Del Toro is now apparently out. Vulture is reporting that negotiations ended last Wednesday when Del Toro's team and Paramount couldn't come to an agreement over monetary issues.

There were rumors when Del Toro's name was first associated with the movie that he could possibly be playing Khan, though Abrams replied that the rumors were false. With him exiting, the question now is who can fill the lead villain role.

Who would you like to see play the lead villain?
