There are plenty of big movies arriving in theaters next year (yes, we're already talking about 2014 movies). Among the blockbusters that will be showcased next year are Divergent, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Godzilla, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Transformers 4, Maleficent, Fast & Furious 7 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
Now, you can't blame his bias in trying to promote the film which he'll be starring in, nor can you deny that X-Men has one of the more interesting ensembles hitting theaters next year as young and old versions of X-Men meet on the big screen.
Stewart stated at Comicpalooza that "I think it is going to certainly be the X-Men of all X-Men pictures, and one doesn't want to tempt fate, but perhaps also the blockbuster of 2014. It was a wonderful to be reunited with those people."
He also elaborated on a few details from the film saying, "It's been six or seven years since X-Men 3, where you will recall that Charles Xavier was vaporized by what's-her-name, Jean Grey. And you're asking yourselves, 'If you were vaporized, how can you be in the next X-Men movie?' Anybody got any ideas how that came about?" An audience member shouts out, "Time travel," to which Stewart says, "Yeah, that's exactly it. I guess. There will be an explanation, but it was a little puzzling for me because I thought my X-Men days were over. So, it's something to look forward to."
Stewart added that he has concluded his portion of filming and that Hugh Jackman, aka Wolverine, will remain on set for the duration of the production, which is slated to wrap in August.
