'Paranormal Activity 2' vs. 'Saw VII' 3D - Which Will You See?

With all the director swaps going on with Paranormal Activity 2, we weren't sure whether the film was still going to make its October release date. Now that they've brought Kip Williams on to helm, though, Variety says the film is now on schedule to hit theaters October 22nd, 2010, opposite … Saw VII 3D!

'Paranormal Activity 2' vs. 'Saw VII 3D'

Sure, both films are rush jobs and they probably won't entertain too much (aside from a cheap scare and a little gore), but in an age where studios strategically line up their releases so that they open on a weekend where there's little competition, not only is it ballsy for both of these horror films to go head to head, but it's also gonna be a heckuva lotta fun to watch.
You'll remember how last year Paranormal Activity opened in a limited release earlier in October, but had built up enough steam and good word-of-mouth buzz that it actually defeated Saw VI at the box office on a weekend that the Saw franchise had owned for years. But instead of retreating with a white flag, Lionsgate dusted off their weakened horror franchise, added a little 3D to the equation and is ready to come back out swinging.
But which film will win the title? Paranormal Activity succeeded on its word-of-mouth buzz, but a lot of people felt let down by the finished product, making the sequel a lot less likely to pull off a similar upset. Plus, Saw VII does have the 3D, and 3D horror films have done very well in the past.
Which film do you think will win the much-coveted weekend before Halloween? And which will you be going to see?
