The Wolf of Wall Street

Ghost in the Shell: Margot Robbie is in talks to star in the long-gestating live-action adaptation of the Japanese manga Ghost in the Shell. Robbie made a big impression in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street last year, playing Leonardo DiCaprio's second wife. Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is set to direct the new version, which follows a covert agent and her partner who fight high-tech crimes. [The Wrap]

The Martian: Jessica Chastain (above in 2012's Lawless) may star opposite Matt Damon in the sci-fi adventure The Martian for director Ridley Scott. The actress is in talks for the female lead; Kristen Wiig is also said to be considering a role. The movie revolves around an astronaut (Damon) who gets stranded on Mars and must figure out how to get home, presumably to planet Earth; Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods) wrote the latest screenplay.
