The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Mike Tyson: Jamie Foxx (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) will portray Mike Tyson in a film version of his life, says the former world champion boxer, who also claimed that Martin Scorsese would be involved. Tyson stated that CGI would be used so the 46-year-old could portray Tyson as a young man. A later trade report confirmed that Foxx is attached to the project, which will be written by Terence Winter (The Wolf of Wall Street). It's not yet confirmed, however, which period of Tyson's life will be covered. [Mirror/Variety]

 

The Mummy

The Mummy: Veteran tentpole writer Alex Kurtzman (Transformers, Star Trek) is in final negotations to direct a new version of The Mummy for Universal. Kurtzman was already set to produce with Chris Morgan; the two are charting a reboot course for Universal's classic monster movies, and The Mummy, set in the present day, will help establish the tone. The Mummy is scheduled for release on April 22, 2016. [Heat Vision]

Frank Trailer: The mysterious and enigmatic Frank (Michael Fassbender) leads a music group that travels to SXSW in Austin, Texas, to showcase their talents.
