Deliver Us From Evil

Deliver Us from Evil Video: Eric Bana stars in the upcoming horror movie Deliver Us from Evil as New York City police detective Ralph Sarchie, who teams with a priest (Edgar Ramirez) to investigate a series of "disturbing and inexplicable crimes." In a new, eye-opening video, Sarchie talks about his real-life experiences as a demonologist. The movie opens in theaters on July 2. [Sony Pictures]

Deliver Us From Evil

Doctor Strange: Speaking of Edgar Ramirez, he's apparently in the mix along with Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jared Leto, who have already been rumored for the supernatural character. Ramirez just worked with Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson on Deliver Us from Evil; asked whether Derrickson had spoken to him about a role in the Marvel movie, the actor acknowledged simply: "We've been talking." Marvel's Kevin Feige recently said that casting on Doctor Strange would begin "probably in the next month or two, and announcing an actor, and then we get into production in the spring of next year."  [Total Film/IGN]

The Girlfriend Experience

The Girlfriend Experience: Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience, his fiercely independent 2009 drama about a high-class Manhattan call girl, will be adapted into a series for premium cable channel Starz. Soderbergh will serve as executive producer, while fiercely independent filmmakers Amy Seimetz and Lodge Kerrigan will write and direct the episodes, which will revolve around a different woman in a different city than in the original film. The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet: If you've ever wanted to have machine guns mounted on your car, here's your chance! A 1965 Chrysler Imperial, one of two vehicles known as "Black Beauty" in the 2011 movie version of The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen, is up on the auction block. The car's modifications include "two hood-mounted Browning .30 caliber machine guns ... four arrays of Stinger missiles beneath the front and back bumpers, [and] a revolving license plate that rotates to Hornet." Bidding is currently somewhere north of $34,000. [The Hollywood Reporter]
