Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: With box office receipts for its opening weekend topping $65 million in the U.S. -- and $97.3 million worldwide -- it's no surprise that a sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now on its way. Paramount made the announcement yesterday, along with a planned release date: June 3, 2016. Writers Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec will return, though it's not yet known if director Jonathan Liesbesman will be back on board. [Heat Vision]

 

The Avengers

SpotlightMark Ruffalo (The Avengers, above) is leading an all-star cast that is lining up for Tom McCarthy's upcoming drama Spotlight, which will tell the story of the Boston Globe journalists who investigated the Catholic Church's cover-up of child molestation cases in Massachusetts. Ruffalo, Michael Keaton and Stanley Tucci are all in talks to join the film, while Rachel McAdams has been offered the lead female role. Liev Schreiber and Aaron Eckhart are also said to be "circling key roles." [The Wrap]

 

Camp X-Ray

Camp X-ray Trailer: Kristen Stewart makes a memorable impact in a dramatic role in the upcoming Camp X-ray. The first trailer reveals that she plays a new military guard at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base camp for "detainees" in Cuba. Peyman Maadi also stars; the movie opens in theaters on October 17.
