News Bites: Masked 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Photos; New 'Flintstones' Movie Coming; Nicolas Cage's 'Rage' Trailer

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy: Chris Pratt is under the mask, we believe, in two new photos from Guardians of the Galaxy. His character, Peter Quill, is also known as Star-Lord, and for some reason is too bashful to show his face. We know it's you, Pratt! All questions will be answered when the movie hits theaters on August 1. [Facebook]

The Flintstones

The Flintstones: Will Ferrell and Adam McKay will serve as executive producers of a new, animated, big-screen version of The Flintstones for Warner Bros. The original TV series aired in prime time on ABC for six seasons from 1960 to 1966 and inspired a live-action feature film in 1994 (with John Goodman and Rick Moranis), as well as a sequel in 2000 (with Mark Addy and Stephen Baldwin). Now, who will play Stone Age best friends Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble? [Heat Vision]

Pitch Perfect

Private Benjamin: Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) will take on the role made famous by Goldie Hawn in 1980's military comedy Private Benjamin. In the original, Judy Benjamin was a spoiled rich girl who joined the Marines on a whim; in the upcoming remake, the character will be a redneck who enlists with her best friend, a rich girl. Anna Faris was formerly attached to the project, which has been in development for years. [The Wrap]

Rage Trailer: A new trailer for Rage doesn't mince words: Nicolas Cage's daughter has been kidnapped and he's very angry about it. Cage is a former criminal who's gone straight, but he still has connections to the underworld, and he calls on them to get his daughter back. Danny Glover, Peter Stormare and Rachel Nichols also star; the movie opens on VOD on June 10 and in theaters on July 11. [First Showing]
