News Bites: 'Harry Potter' Stars Reunite; New Trailer for Scarlett Johansson's 'Lucy,' and More

What If

What If: Daniel Radcliffe stars in the upcoming romantic comedy What If opposite Zoe Kazan. The first photos have been released and, as they suggest, Radcliffe and Kazan meet and form an instant connection, which is complicated because Kazan is in a long-term relationship with Rafe Spall. Adam Driver also stars; the movie hits theaters on August 1. [Coming Soon]

What If

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts: Speaking of Daniel Radcliffe, he reunited with fellow Harry Potter stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to film new footage for Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, a new ride that is part of "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley" at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida. Warwick Davis, Helena Bonham-Carter and other actors are also reprising their roles; the footage will play during the ride, which will open this summer. [MTV]

The Martian: Ridley Scott (Prometheus) is in negotations to direct sci-fi adventure The Martian, which will probably secure Matt Damon (above, in Elysium) as star. The story follows an astronaut stranded on Mars, struggling to survive until a rescue mission is mounted. Drew Goddard (TV's Daredevil and The Sinister Six) was previously attached. [Heat Vision]

Lucy Trailer: The more we see of Scarlett Johansson in Luc Besson's Lucy, the more we like the action thriller, which means we really like the new international trailer. Johansson stars as a woman forced to be a drug mule; when things go wrong, she acquires previously unseen physical and mental powers. Morgan Freeman also stars; look for the movie in theaters on August 8. [Screen Rant]
