The Hateful Eight: A capacity crowd watched Quentin Tarantino direct Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth and others in a live staged reading of The Hateful Eight, based on a new script of his that was leaked a while back. As a result of the leak, Tarantino had indicated he would permanently shelve the project, but now says it represents only his first draft, and that he will return to it… eventually. In Your Eyes

In Your Eyes: Joss Whedon wrote and produced In Your Eyes, a new movie that debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival last night -- and promptly became available for rental. Directed by Erin Hill, the movie stars Zoe Kazan and Michael Stahl-David as "a bored wife and charismatic ex-con who share an inexplicable connection." [The Wrap]


Star Wars Rebels Clip: The first clip from Star Wars Rebels features a pilot named Hera (voiced by Vanessa Marshall, who introduces the clip) and a robot with a much better known moniker. The animated series will debut this fall on the Disney Channel and then air regularly on Disney XD. [Star Wars]
