Beauty and the Beast: Bill Condon will direct a live-action version of Disney's animated modern classic Beauty and the Beast. The director previously helmed the final two installments of The Twilight Saga, as well as the musical Dreamgirls. Disney launched Maleficent successfully last weekend, and is also planning to release live-action versions of its animated films Cinderella and The Jungle Book in 2015. [Variety]
